David is in his 16th year coaching in the Mavericks program.  This is his 11th year as the Mavericks “A” Head Coach.  Previously he served as an Assistant Coach for both the “A” and “AA” Mavericks.

In 2013, Coach Feeley guided the “A” Mavericks to a 47-24 record and a berth into the State “A” Legion Tournament for the first time since 2000, where they finished tied for 5th place.   In 2011, Feeley led the “A” Mavericks to a 43-24 record and a 2nd place finish at the Western District Tournament.  The “A” Mavericks have recorded at least 40 victories four times and have had winning seasons eight out of the ten years under Coach Feeley.

David was named “Most Inspirational Player” in 1993 on the Missoula Reds (now “A” Mavericks.)  As a player for the “AA” Mavericks he was part of the 1994 Montana “AA” State Champions which compiled a 73-16 record and finished 2nd at the 1994 Northwest Regional.  He was also part of the 1995 Montana State Championship team.  His “AA” teams had an overall record of 134-27 and 47-1 in Conference games.  In his two years on “AA” he played every position except first base and catcher while hitting above .345 in both ’94 and ’95.  He is also near the top of the Maverick’s record for career Stolen Base Percentage.
