Volunteer Position Descriptions

Ticket Booth: Be at the park 1 hour before game time. Put up flags located in the pump house. Get money to operate the booth from Tom in the concessions stand.

Those set to work the second game need to report at the end of the 5th inning in the first game. You close up the ticket booth during the 5th inning of the second game. Take money to Tom. Take down the flags at the end of the game. Put them in the pump house.

Concessions: Please report to Tom in the concessions stand 1/2 hour prior to the game. You are responsible for helping the entire game. If you are assigned to concessions the 2nd game, report there at least half an inning before the end of the 1st game to help with the rush during intermission.

50/50: Ticket sales begin at the start of the third inning. See Tom in concessions for the tickets and money pouch.

If you are assigned 50/50 duties, it is your responsibility to clean the restrooms, empty the bathroom trash cans and refill paper goods. If there is a double header, GAME 2 50/50 sellers are responsible. Cleaning supplies are in the back room of the concession stand. Paper products and garbage bags are located in the pump house

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO SEE THAT YOUR TIME SLOT IS FILLED. YOU MAY TRADE WITH OTHERS, BUT LET THE TICKET BOOTH PERSON FOR THE GAME KNOW WHO IS FILLING IN FOR YOU.

 

EACH GAME WILL ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS TO: KEEP THE SCOREBOOK, OPERATE THE SCOREBOARD AND i SCORE. If you are able to help in these areas, please check in the announcer’s booth each game to see if help is needed.
